T&C’s

Photographs cannot be returned and we reserve the right not to publish pictures that are inappropriate or of an inadequate quality. The Bristol Post accepts no responsibility for any error, misprint or omission in the printing of an entrant’s details/photograph. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that all photographs appearing in the newspaper are of the highest quality possible, it should be noted that pictures reproduced on newsprint are not of the original quality. In the event that participants have incurred a postage shortfall, Bristol News & Media regrets it cannot pay postage costs to obtain voting coupons, nor can it take responsibility for lost or damaged entry forms or voting coupons. The winners will be the couple who collect the most tokens. The winning couple will not be confirmed until the tokens have been counted and verified by the Bristol Post. In the event of a draw, a tie breaker question will be asked to determine the winner. Please note we do not disclose the amount of votes achieved by any of the couples. The winners will have 45 days after their announcement to liaise with all the prize providers to choose a suitable date for the wedding in 2014. This is subject to the availability of the venue and individual prize providers. The winner(s) will not have preference over other customers. The prize is non transferable. In the tragic event that the wedding is cancelled there will be no alternative date available other than the original date agreed and cannot be exchanged for cash. The winner(s) must reside within Bristol News & Media’s circulation area. Any additional cost accrued above and beyond that agreed by individual prize providers will be paid for by the winner(s), who will be required to pay the difference in full. This includes additional guests and upgrades of any prizes offered. Prizes are provided in their entirety by third party sponsors and Bristol News & Media accepts no responsibility for any technical, operational, financial, or other reasons that may result in any facility to be closed, no longer trading, or unavailable at any time. Bristol News & Media accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage caused by any aspect of the competition or prize package. The health & safety of the wedding party nor that of wedding guests is not the responsibility of Bristol News & Media at any time. Whilst same-sex and heterosexual couples are equally eligible to enter, we regret we cannot alter prizes stated to specifically cater for same-sex weddings where requirements may differ. In the event the winner(s) are completely unable to take up the prize and have given reasonable notice, Bristol News & Media may offer the prize to the nominee with the second-highest number of votes, at its discretion. Sale of the prize package as a whole or any part of the prize for profit by any party is strictly forbidden. Any extras required (e.g. registrar, additional decorations, additional drinks, breakages) are the responsibility of the winners. Some of the pictures taken on the day may be used in editorial coverage. It is the winner(s) responsibility to take out any Wedding Insurance policies as deemed necessary, and not that of Bristol News & Media. Pre-booking is essential, without exception, for every aspect of the wedding prize; all responsibility lies with the winner(s) to contact individual prize providers with their requirements, as soon as possible within a reasonable time period before the wedding, and not with Bristol News & Media. The winner(s) are required, as a condition of the prize, to arrange all necessary appointments, viewings and trials as soon as possible after being informed of their win. We would stress that early contact is highly advisable to avoid disappointment and to ensure the exact specifications of colour, size and other preferences. No disputes will be entered into.
